Wilmer Regina Brown, lovingly known as Regina, age 90, passed away on January 25, 2024, in Rome, GA, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on April 15, 1933, in Atlanta, GA to Wilmer Stroud Morris and Lola Octavia Warnock Morris.
Regina lived a fulfilling life as a homemaker and found great joy in raising her daughters and supporting her husband. She was a devoted wife of 70 years to Rev. Lee H. Brown of Rome, GA. Their love and companionship were a testament to their enduring bond. One of Regina's proudest accomplishments was being a pastor's wife. She thrived in this role, offering her unwavering support and sharing the love of God with everyone she crossed paths with. Through her gentle spirit and caring nature, Regina touched the lives of many people and left an indelible mark on their hearts.
Her pleasant personality endeared her to those around her. Always putting others before herself, she exuded love and found joy in serving others. Whether it was lending a helping hand to a neighbor or offering kind words of encouragement, Regina's loving presence made a significant impact on the lives she touched.
In her free time, Regina enjoyed engaging in various hobbies and interests. She had a green thumb and found solace in gardening. The soothing sound of flowing water filled her heart with contentment as she cast her fishing line into calm waters. Sewing allowed her creative spirit to flourish, while the keys of the piano created melodies that resonated deeply within her soul. Regina delighted in singing and shared her beautiful voice with those fortunate enough to listen. Additionally, she found pleasure in shopping at Talbots where she indulged in her love for fashion.
Regina leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for her surviving family members: husband, Lee Henry Brown of Rome, GA; daughters, Carma Foulk and her husband Pierce of Armuchee, GA; Margret Brown of Armuchee, GA; Rebekah Mathis and her husband Matt of Rome, GA; grandchildren, Collin Mathis, Cauri Mathis, Cooper Mathis, Elizabeth Taft, and Jennifer Foulk.
