William Britt Hunt

William Britt Hunt, age 39, of #811 Dry Creek Road, Summerville, GA. died Wednesday morning, January 13th, 2010 in Floyd County from injuries sustained in an on-the-job accident.
A native of Floyd County, Britt was born on May 7th, 1970 the son of Clyde G. and Delores Ann Floyd Hunt. He had spent his entire life in Floyd and Chattooga County and was of the Baptist Faith. Britt was a 1989 graduate of Armuchee High School and attended Coosa Valley Tech. For the past 18 years Britt had been associated with BellSouth and AT&T where at the time of his death served as an Outside Plant Technician. He was a member of the Pioneers and loved old cars, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his parents, Clyde and Delores Hunt of Rome; a sister and brother-in-law, Tonya and Terry Parker of Cedartown, GA.; a brother, Scotty Clyde Hunt of Rome; his partner, Jennifer Williams. A number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for William Britt Hunt will be held on Sunday afternoon, January 17th, 2010 at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with the Rev. Rayford Parker and the Rev. Rodney Willingham officiating. Interment will follow in the Mills Cemetery on Haywood Valley Road.
Britt will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Saturday) evening from 6 until 9 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the home of the parents, Clyde and Delores Hunt, #441 Jones Bend Road, NE, Rome.
The following will serve as active pallbearers, Kenneth Vasser, Keith Shipman, Terry Parker, Jason Hopper, Shawn Brock and Chuck Wingo.
