Wayne Anthony Beard
June 20, 1952 — June 9, 2024
Wayne will be remembered with great fondness and admiration. His memory will be cherished by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Survivors include his sons, Brent (Sarah) Beard and Jody Beard, as well as a friend, Calvin Wayne Freeman. Their lives have been forever enriched by Wayne's presence and the love he shared with them. Wayne was preceded in death by his beloved parents, George Beard, Jr., and Gladys Louise Mitchell Beard; his wife, Sharon Brookshire Beard; daughter, Kimberly Michelle Beard and a grandson, Christopher George Beard.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Wayne Beard will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Salmon Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 12:00 PM until the service begins at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with their funeral costs. Donations may be made in person, via phone, or on our website through the Services Tab and the Payment Center.
