Virginia Mae Adkins

August 28, 1925 — October 5, 2007

Virginia Feazell Adkins, age 82, of #1216 Everett Springs Road, Everett Springs, died Friday morning, October 5th, 2007 at the residence.
A native of Dempsey, West Virginia, Mrs. Adkins was born on August 28th, 1925, the daughter of the late John W. and Thelma Baughn Feazell. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Adkins was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Kay Larsen and by a son, James Richard Adkins. Mrs. Adkins was married on August 28th, 1945 to James Stokley Adkins, Jr. who preceded her in death on January 21st, 1998.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Harold Chambers of Everett Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, Jack Jordan Adkins, Sr. and Diane Adkins of Clarksville, Tenn.; 5 grandchildren, Marci Oliver, Jessica Adkins, Brian Larsen, Jordan Adkins and Nathaniel Chambers, 2 sisters, Josephine Cuddy and Dorothy Roberts both of Fayatteville, W.V. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Virginia Feazell Adkins will be held on Monday morning, October 8th, 2007 at 11 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Alexander and Wayne Clemons officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
The following will serve as active pallbearers, Nathaniel Chambers, Brian Larsen, Jordan Adkins, Eddie Pursley, Matt Owens and Brooklyn Stieffel.
Mrs. Adkins will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Sunday) evening from 7 until 9 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the residence, 1216 Everett Springs Road, Everett Springs.
