Virginia Ethel Phillips

Virginia Ethel Phillips, age 80 of Rome passed away on Oct. 10, 2015. She was a member of Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church and was also a member of the Old Dalton Road Homemakers Club. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Franklin Phillips and grandson Kevin Matthew Little. Mrs. Phillips always loved caring for others.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan (Weyman) Little; son, Steve (Regina) Phillips; grandchildren, Stephanie (Cody) Wolfe, Philip (Lee) Little, Patrick Little; great grandson, Ethan Matthew Little.

Visitation will be at 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015 at Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church. The funeral will begin at 2:00 pm at the church with burial to follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. Rev. Mack McCurry and Rev. Clyde Hampton will be officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be the members of her Sunday School Class the Bessie Myrick Class and residents and staff of Riverwood Assisted Living. Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church Building Fund.
