Virginia Carolyn Zook

Virginia C. "Jenny" Zook, age 57, of #12581 Highway 100, Lyerly, Ga. and a former Roman died Saturday morning, February 16th, 2008 at her residence.
A native of Chattooga County, Georgia, Mrs. Zook was born on May 30th, 1950, the daughter of Edward Leroy and Susie Josephine Adams Perry. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Shepherd Chapel Church. Mrs. Zook had been a resident of Chattooga County for the past 7 years, moving there from Buchannan, GA. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mollie Lively and Rebecca Brownlow.
Mrs. Zook is survived by her husband, David Zook Sr., to whom she was married on January 12th, 1966; 2 daughters; Tina Barnett of Cedar Bluff, AL., and Debbie Calhoun of Tallapoosa, GA. A son, David Zook Jr. of Lyerly; 2 sisters; Frances Brumbelow, of Leesburg, AL. and Mary Cox of Rome; 1 brother; Leroy "Bud" Perry of Buchannan, GA. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Virginia C. "Jenny" Zook will be held on Wednesday afternoon, February 20th 2008 at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with Rev. Horace Humphrey officiating. Interment will follow in the Unity Cemetery near Cedar Bluff, Alabama.
Mrs. Zook will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family received friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 9 o'clock. At other hours, the family will be at the residence.
