Vicki Lynn Bennett

Vicki Lynn Baxter Bennett, age 56, of #4 Chester Avenue, Rome, died Sunday morning, February 21st, 2010 at a local hospital.
A native of Floyd County, Mrs. Bennett was born on February 20th, 1954, the daughter of the late Kenneth J. and Beatrice Graham "Bea" Baxter. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Lynn Bennett and by a sister, Patricia Bannister.
Survivors include her husband, Barry Bennett to whom she was married on October 13th, 1970; a daughter, Christy Bennett of Atlanta, GA.; a sister, and brother-in-law, Janie Baxter Sprayberry and her husband, Richard of Rome; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Billy and Rovina Minton of Rome and Jerry Wayne Baxter of Texas; 1 aunt, Betty Lou Christian and 1 uncle, Charles Christian. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Vicki Lynn Baxter Bennett will be held this (Tuesday) afternoon, February 23rd, 2010 at 3 o'clock from the graveside of New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Rosedale with the Rev. Ricky Studdard officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
