Vera Lee Lynch

Mrs. Vera Lee Lynch, age 76, of #383 Rosedale Road, NE, Armuchee, (the Rosedale Community) died Monday night, July 30th, 2007 at her residence.
A native of Floyd County, Mrs. Lynch was born on December 19th, 1930, the daughter of the late William H. and Alba Hawkins Roundtree. She had spent her entire life in Floyd County and was a member of the Floyd Springs Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. Mrs. Lynch was associated with Celanese and prior to her retirement was associated with Image Carpets of Rome. Mrs. Lynch was preceded in death by a grandson and by a brother, Lamar Roundtree.
Survivors include her husband, Loyd F. "Buster" Lynch to whom she was married on November 22nd, 1947, 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, Lloyd and Laura Lynch, Larry and Sara Ann Lynch and Steve Lynch all of Armuchee; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren also survive as do 2 sisters, Norma Bell of Gainesville, Ga. and Betty Rogers of Armuchee; 1 brother, A.J. Roundtree of Armuchee. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Vera Lee Lynch will be held on Thursday afternoon, August 2nd, 2007, at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward E. Holsomback and Chaplain Alan Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
Grandsons will service as active pallbearers.
Mrs. Lynch will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Wednesday) evening from 6 until 9 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the residence.
