Vance Bradley Walker, age 36, of #601 Lee Avenue, Rome, died Sunday, July 15th, 2007 at his residence.
A native of Floyd County, Vance was born on October 7th, 1970, was a 1989 graduate of West Rome High School and a 1996 graduate of Shorter College. He was an accomplished musician and at the time of his death he was associated with Wal-Mart. Vance was preceded in death by grandparents, Buck and Frances Walker and Woodrow Coheley.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Larry and Stacy Lee Walker of Rome, his mother, Vicki Coheley of Centre Ala; a brother Jeremy Walker of Rome, a grandmother, Mrs. Dovie Coheley of Centre, Ala.; an uncle, David R. Walker of Adairsville.
Burial and Eucharist for Vance Bradley Walker will be this (Wednesday) morning, July 18th, 2007, at 11 o'clock at The Transfiguration Episcopal Church, 304 Coker Drive, Rome, with The Reverend Michael Owens officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Memory Gardens.
The family received friends at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock. At other hours they will be at #12 Wilson Drive, West Rome.
