Susan Whitehead

Miss Susan T. Whitehead, age 58, of Rome, GA, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in a local healthcare facility.

Susan was born in Columbus, GA, on November 26, 1959, a daughter of the late Robert Martin Whitehead and Betty Jean Schubert Whitehead. She had been a resident of Rome and Floyd County since 2007, moving here from Whitesburg, GA. Susan enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading and listening to music. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Motes, in 2013.

Susan is survived by one sister, Carol Chandler of Collins, GA; two brothers, John Hinman and Mark Whitehead, both of Carrollton, GA. A number of nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends also survive

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 12:00 noon in the Carl Sidwell Chapel of Salmon Funeral Home. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Salmon Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
