Stephen Mark Williams

Stephen Mark "Steve" Williams, age 55, of Rome passed away on Monday night, July 15, 2013 in Rome.

A native of Floyd County, Steve was born on August 7, 1957, the son of J. Hugh and Mary Alice Toles Williams. He had spent the greater part of his life in Rome and Floyd County and was a 1975 graduate of Coosa High School. Steve was a member of the Hill Crest Baptist Church and for a period of time was associated with Zartic Inc. of Rome.

Survivors include his parents, J.Hugh and Mary Alice Toles Williams of Rome; a brother, Phillip Williams of Rome and a nephew, David Williams.

Funeral services for Stephen Mark "Steve" Williams will be held on Saturday afternoon, July 20, 2013, at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Draper officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

Steve will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Friday) evening from 6 until 8 o'clock. At other hours the family will be at the home of his parents, J. Hugh and Mary Alice Williams at 24 East Kenora Drive, Rome.

The following will serve as active pallbearers, Phillip Williams, Mark and Clark Toles and David Williams.
