Stella Rebecca Becky Wright

Mrs. Stella Rebecca "Becky" Wright, age 55, of Shannon, GA, passed away Friday afternoon, May 22, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

Becky was born in Cartersville, GA, on June 4, 1964, daughter the late Charles Walter Fowler and Sarah Jane Pritchett Fowler. She was a 1983 graduate of Cherokee High School and an honorary member of New Canaan Baptist Church of Rome. Becky loved decorating parties for others and was called upon often to help. She also enjoyed doing all kinds of crafts including making jewelry, drawing, and sketching.

Becky is survived by her husband, Joseph D. Wright, whom she married August 24, 1984; two daughters and son-in-law, Addie and Matthew Wright of Fort Payne, AL, and Josie Wright of Rome, GA; one son, Charles Wright of Shannon; three grandchildren, Emily Wright, Colton Wright and Charlie Wright; two sisters, Helen Cantrell of Ellijay, GA, and Patty Cox of Canton, GA. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.

In keeping with Beckys wishes she is being cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
