Sheila Elaine Burnett

Sheila Elaine Burnett, age 43, of #365 Second Street, Shannon, GA. died Friday afternoon, May 2nd, 2008 at a local hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Highway 140.
A native of Jefferson County, Alabama, Ms. Burnett was born on December 12th, 1964, the daughter of Emmett L. and Joyce Green Patterson. She had spent the greater part of her life in Bartow and Floyd Counties and was a homemaker. For several years Ms. Burnett was associated with Magic Link Phone Service.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Courtney Burnett of Rome and Chelsea Burnett of Pensacola, Fla.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Patterson of Childersburg, Ala.; 1 sister, Pamela Shelly of Spanish Fort, Ala.; 3 brothers, Ron Patterson of McDonald, Tenn., Roger Patterson of Rome and Luke Patterson of Fayetteville, N.C.; her fianc, Tommy "Toe" Lambert of Rome. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Sheila Elaine Burnett will be held on Tuesday afternoon, May 6th, 2008, at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens.
The following will serve as active pallbearers, Jody Shelly, Luke, Roger, and Ron Patterson, Robert and Von Lambert.
Ms. Burnett will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Monday) evening from 6 until 9 o'clock. At other hours the family will be at the home of a brother, Roger Patterson, #3 Baker Drive SW, Rome, Georgia 30165.
