Ronald Stephen Pilgrim

September 13, 1951 — September 17, 2023

Ronald Stephen Pilgrim “Billy Joe Pearl”, born on September 13, 1951 in Rome Ga, passed away on
September 17, 2023 at his home. He was the beloved son of Adrian and Lucille Pilgrim who preceded
him in death.

Ronnie was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his children and their spouses Phillip
Pilgrim (Quincy), Lindsay Dreher (Eric), Drew Pilgrim (Erin), and 9 grandchildren. Isabella, Avery, Owen,
Finley, Loxley, McCoy, Ryman, Livian & Deacon. He is also survived by his three siblings Jimmy Pilgrim,
Linda Guldenschuh, and Greg Pilgrim.

Ronnie graduated from West Rome High School in 1969 and earned an associate’s degree from Floyd
College. Ronnie spent 17 years working for the local Cable TV company working his way up from a
technician position into a management role. Ronnie left the Cable company to start his own used car
dealership in Rome with great success.

Ronnie could most accurately be described as “one of a kind”. He was a smart man with a unique sense
of humor who was not afraid to share his view on life. He was very opinionated, welcomed everyone,
and often found himself as the life of the party. He loved music, cigars, classic cars, hot rods,
motorcycles, blue tic hound dogs, Bulldogs Football, grilling chicken, and living his version of a country
lifestyle on his acreage. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Receiving friends will be held for Ronnie at Salmon Funeral Home located on New Calhoun Highway
Northeast in Rome GA on 9/21/2023 from 5-7pm. Please wear casual attire as that’s what he would
have preferred.
