Robert Paul Smith

Robert Paul "Bobby" Smith, age 30, of Lawrenceville, Ga. and a former resident of Cave Spring, died early Saturday morning, January 13th, 2007, at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA. from injuries received in an automobile accident.
A native of Clarke County, GA., Bobby was born on April 11th, 1976, the son of Robert Lee Smith and Paula Rogers Fortune. He had spent the greater part of his life in Winder, GA., where he attended Winder Barrow High School. Bobby served in the U.S. Army, was a self-employed computer operator and was an aspiring actor.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Paula and Albert Fortune of Covington, GA., father and stepmother, Robert L. and Joann Smith of Cave Spring, GA.; 4 sisters, Auburn Cooper of Pell City, Ala., Melanie Smith of Bethlehem, GA., Kelli Fortune of Covington, Ga. and Linda Thomaston of Cave Spring, GA.; 1 brother, Robert Lee Smith of Mt. Airy, MC. Aunts and uncles also survive.
Funeral services for Robert Paul "Bobby" Smith will be held on Tuesday afternoon, January 16th, 2007, at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home, Rome, GA. with Pastor Jack Karch officiating.
Bobby will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home, Rome, Ga. where the family will receive friends this (Monday) evening from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the residence of the father and stepmother at # 59 Sleepy Hollow Road, Cave Spring, GA.
