Raymond Anthony Musialowski

September 28, 1919 — July 6, 2011

Raymond Anthony Musialowski, age 91, a former long time resident of the Garden Lakes Community, Rome passed away early Wednesday morning, July 6th, 2011 in Marietta, Georgia.

A native of Buffalo, New York, Mr. Musialowski was born on September 28th, 1919, the son of the late Anthony and Victoria Zachary Musialowski. He was a resident of Tuscaloosa, Ala. from 1945-1954 and attended the University of Alabama. Mr. Musialowski was a World War II veteran having served in the United States Air Force. Prior to his retirement he was associated with Georgia Kraft - Inland Rome and was a member of the Georgia Kraft Retirees. Mr. Musalowski was an Emeritus member of Oostanaula Masonic Lodge #113 F&AM for more than 50 years and was a past member of the Low 12 Club of Rome. Mr. Musialowski was preceded in death by a son, Frank Musialowski on September 23rd, 1997and by 2 sisters, Eugina Polaniec and Dorothy Hadden. He was married on November 25th, 1945 to Edna Earl Wilson Musialowski who preceded him in death on June 23rd, 2001.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Lynn F. Beall of Marietta; a daughter-in-law, Jo Musialowski of Cross Junction, VA.; 1 brother, Leonard Zachary of Cheektowaga, New York.

Mr. Musialowski will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home, Rome, GA. where the family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon, July 9th, 2011 from 2 until 4 o'clock and from 6 until 9 o'clock.

On Sunday Mr. Musialowski will be carried to the Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South in Tuscaloosa, Ala. (205-752-2005) where the family will receive friends on Monday afternoon, July 11th, 2011 from 12:30 until 2 o'clock (CST) with graveside and interment services to follow at 2:30 p.m. (CST) in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park Cemetery, Tuscaloosa, Ala.
