Phillip Lane Mcentire

Phillip Lane McEntire, age 56, of Calhoun, GA passed away on Thursday evening, February 7, 2019 in a local hospital.

Phillip was born in Rome, GA on November 2, 1962. Son of Charles Walker McEntire, Jr and Mattie Louise Riggins McEntire. In addition to his parents, Phillip is survived by his wife, Tara Zann Jefferson McEntire whom he married on May 24, 1991: two sons and daughter-in-law, Patrick Micle Shane, Kevin Lane and Chasity, five grandchildren, Riley, Arial, Christopher, Elijah and Clover; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles (Shirley) and Zachary Len (Patti), one niece and two nephews, Le'nora McEntire-Doss (Collin), Zachary McEntire and Chaz McEntire (Mac). Phillip has many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will deeply miss him, especially his honorary sister, Veronica Leigh Cochran.

Phillip had a deep love for motorcycles, animals and reading. He was an avid history buff.

In keeping with his wishes, Phillip has been cremated. His family is in the process of planning a private memorial service at a later date.
