Patricia Duke Griffith

Patricia Duke Griffith, age 71, of Rome, passed away on July 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents Annie and George Duke; husband, Paul Griffith; brother, Howard Duke. Patricia was a member of New Antioch Baptist Church in Shannon. She was retired from Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. Mrs. Griffith was an avid reader and loved movies. She loved her family and granddaughter and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Jenny Casey; granddaughter, Kristen Casey; sister, Ramie (Ray) Swim; brother, Ramon (Betty) Duke and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 11:00 am until Noon at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at the funeral home with burial at Eastview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the CTEPH Foundation at www.chestnet.org.
