Paralee Moon

Paralee Moon, age 84, of 16 Fairhaven Drive, Rome, (Coosa Community) died Wednesday morning, March 7th, 2007, at Cherokee Medical Center, Centre, Alabama.
A native of Talladega, Ala., Mrs. Moon was born on August 28th, 1922, the daughter of the late Bloss and Cassie Curtis Kissic. She had spent the greater part of her life in Floyd County, was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Buford and Betty Moon of Rome; 2 grandchildren, Lori Langston and her husband, Donnie of Kennesaw, GA. and Britney Moon of Rome; 2 great-grandchildren, Jennifer Henry of Kennesaw, GA. and Cassie Henry of Rome; 1 great-great-grandson, Hayden Parker Henry of Kennesaw, Ga.; 1 sister, Margie Collard of Sylacauga, Ala.; 1 brother, Bud Kissic of Alpine, Ala. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Paralee Moon will be held on Friday afternoon, March 9th, 2007 at 2 o'clock from the graveside of Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Billy Murdock officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Moon will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home and the family will be at the residence, #16 Fairhaven Drive, NW, Rome, (Coosa Community).
