Mui Nhi Chuong, age 71, passed away on April 19, 2024, at her home in Rome, GA. She was born on June 20, 1952, in Quang Ninh, Vietnam.
Mui will always be remembered for her hard work and commitment to her family. Her dedication to providing for her family knew no bounds, and her role as a mother and wife was just one of the many ways, she showed her love and care. Mui was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her presence brought warmth and joy to those around her. Her family meant everything to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them. The impact Mui made during her life is immeasurable. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She was able to create a wonderful family and touched many lives around her. Being no stranger to challenges and hardwork, from immigrating to the US, marrying her husband Loi Do during a winter storm, or creating friendships in spite of challenges like language. Cooking and sharing a good meal for others to create a wonderful and inviting space for everyone in her life was something so natural to her. She may not have been the biggest person in the room but her presence was always the largest in the room.
Survivors include her husband, Loi Tan Do of Rome; son, Minh Chuong; daughters, Kathy Chuong and Linda Saikhamkong; brothers, Pau Chuong and Jim Chuong; sisters, Cu Ly Chuong, Angela Chuong, and Nancy Chuong and grandchildren, Sophia Saikhamkong and Savannah Grace Saikhamkong. Mui shared a special bond with each of them and left behind memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. Preceding Mui in death were her parents, Soi Sun Chuong and Mui Cau Sam; brother, Andrew Chuong.
