Mirna E. Calderon, age 52, of 514 Burnett Ferry Road, Rome, died Monday afternoon, November 6th, 2006 at a Rome hospital.
A native of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Mirna was born on September 13th, 1954, the daughter of the late Julio Calderon and Marta Alvarenga. She had been a resident of Rome for the past 16 year moving here from Los Angeles, Calif. and attended the Iglesia Bautista Manantial de Vida Church. Prior to her death she was associated with Crothall Laundry of Rome.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Yadira B. Alvarenga and Mirna Leticia Benitez both of Rome, and Isabel Calderon Benitez of Mexico; 2 sons, Freddie Alvarenga and Alfonso Calderon Marin both of Rome. 8 grandchildren also survive as do 2 sisters of Honduras and 5 brothers, which include Rigoberto Alvarenga of Rome. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mirna E. Calderon will be held on Friday afternoon, November 10th, 2006, at 2 o'clock in the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with Pastor Mario Galvan officiating with interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
Mirna E. Calderon will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home where the family will receive friends this (Thursday) from 12 o'clock noon until 9 o'clock at the funeral home.
Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home of Rome, Georgia has charge of the funeral arrangements.

Nacida en la Ciudad de Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Mirna naci el 13 de septiembre 1954, la hija del fallecido Sr. Julio Calderon y Marta Alvarenga. Ella se mudo de la Ciuadad de Los ngeles, Calif.
