Mildred Louise Bishop

Mildred Louise Bishop, age 83, of Acworth Georgia and a former Roman died Tuesday afternoon, May 12th, 2009 at Heartland Hospice House in Cartersville, GA.
A native of Bartow County, Mrs. Bishop was born on July 9th, 1925, the daughter of the late Gus F. and Lucinda Emaline Chrisp Chitwood. She had spent the greater part of her life in Rome and was a homemaker. Mrs. Bishop was of the Baptist faith and was married on February 10th, 1981 to Elbert C. Bishop who preceded her in death on August 14th, 1999.
Survivors include a sister, Theore Hill of Acworth, GA. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mildred Louise Bishop will be held this (Thursday) afternoon, May 14th, 2009 at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with the Rev. Jody Brock officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of Oakland Cemetery.
Mrs. Bishop will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Thursday) afternoon from 1 until 2 o'clock.
The following will serve as pallbearers, Leon, James, Marshall and Jerry Hill, Clifford Guyton and J.T. Sanford.
