Marika Marie Nelson

Marika Marie Nelson, age 26, of Rome, passed away on May 30, 2016. Marika loved writing in her journal, listening to music and anything dealing with her son and niece. She loved working at Floyd Medical Center in the cafeteria. Marika also loved taking selfies and had an infectious smile. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her son, Landon John Nelson; mother, Pam (Terry) Quebodeaux and father, Phillip (Rachael) Nelson; sister, Tiffany (David Richard) Smith, grandmother, Lola Bryant; grandfather, Larry Nelson; step sisters, Shawn Ward and Natalie Quebodeaux; stepbrothers, Richard Couey, Jonathan Couey, Dwight Quebodeaux, Dwayne Quebodeaux; nieces Kylie Smith, Kinsley Couey; aunt, Patsy William, Peggy Prince; uncle, Brian Kirby; cousins, Misty (Terry) Williams, Courtney Nelson, Lacie Nelson, Brittney Fincher, Kayden Williams, Tye Williams, Loagun Williams, Katelyn Kirby, Owen Garrett, Tessa Fincher, Nathan Garrett, Alexis Garrett, Nevaeh Fricks, Braylen Fricks, Hayden Fricks, Emma Ward, Jessie Ward, Jacob Quebodeaux, Bradon Quebodeaux, Madison Quebodeaux.

There will be a memorial service 11 :00 am, Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home.
