Margarett Florine Reed

Florine Cochran Reed, age 80 of #8211 New Calhoun Highway NE, Adairsville, GA. (The Scottsville Community) died Thursday evening, October 11th, 2007 at Erlinger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn.
A native of Floyd County, Mrs. Reed was born on August 24th, 1927. She had spent her entire life in Floyd County and was a homemaker. Mrs. Reed was a member of the Enon Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Ball Club and Senior Adult Sunday School Class. Mrs. Reed was married on February 5th, 1944 to Andrew Thomas "Andy" Reed, who preceded her in death on January 18th, 1999.
Survivors include 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Wayne Benson, Sharon and Donald Gollahon, Tammy and Gary Stansell all of Rome and Janet and Jim Meador of Bowling Green, KY.; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Laverne Reed of Taylorsville, Ga.; 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Florine Cochran Reed will be held on Sunday afternoon, October 14th, 2007 at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Cosby and Rev. Hoyt Coker officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery at Rosedale.
Active pallbearers include, Donald Ayer, Wayne Benson, Donald Gollahon, Jim Meador, Gary Stansell and Jason Patterson.
Mrs. Reed will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Saturday) evening from 6 until 8 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the residence.
