In 1988, they moved to Birmingham, AL, where they would live until 2021. They were active members of Briarwood Presbyterian Church, then Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church. LeVoin delighted in her two granddaughters who lived locally. She was a joyful supporter of their dance recitals and choir concerts.
