Leuomon Stewart

Mr. Leuomon Stewart, age 94, of Portsmouth, OH, died Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Hill View Health Care Center in Ohio.

Mr. Stewart was born on April 5, 1918, in Eden, AL, the son of the late B.P. and Lucy Kilgrove Stewart. He was a retired minister and member of the Church of God. Along with his parents, Leuomon was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Mae Miller Stewart, to whom, he was married on July 20, 1946, in Rome, GA.

Leuomon is survived by a son and his wife, Dr. Kendall and Fay Stewart of Portsmouth, OH; two grandsons, Jonathan Stewart of Columbus, OH and Timothy (Emma) Stewart of Portsmouth; and a great-grandson, Hunter Verhaden Stewart, of Portsmouth.

Graveside and interment services for Mr. Stewart will be held on Saturday morning, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at East View Cemetery in Rome, GA.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made in Leuomon's name to SOMC Hospice, 2201 25th Street, Portsmouth, OH, 45662.
