Lelah Allen

Mrs. Lelah M. Allen, age 88, of Happy Valley, Oregon and a former resident of Rome passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013 in Oregon.

Mrs. Allen was born in Darby, Montana, February 26, 1925, the daughter of the late William and Florence Paddock Tessler. Mrs. Allen, the widow of Robert M. Allen had been a resident of Oregon since 2001 moving there from Rome. She was a member of the Oostanaula United Methodist Church of Rome.

Survivors include a brother-in-law, Kerney Camp of Rome; 2 nieces, Sharon Hoban (John) and Cindy Allen; 3 nephews, Darryl G. Fleck, Bill and Steve Camp; cousins, Roger Brown, Bill Perkins (LaVern), Faye Morrison (Leon), Shelby Gay(Charles) and Pat Edwards(Tony); 1 aunt Eloise Brown of Rome also survives.

Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Allen will be held on Wednesday afternoon, July 31, 2013 at 2 o'clock at the Oostanaula United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Warren Causey officiating. For those attending the services for Mrs. Allen please meet at the graveside on Wednesday afternoon by 1:45 p.m.
