Kwi Son Prange

Kwi Son Prange, a beloved mother, grandmother, and customer service professional in the import and export business, passed away on May 22nd, 2023, suddenly after a brief fight with leukemia cancer. She was born on April 21st, 1950, in South Korea.

Kwi's career as a customer service professional spanned many years working tirelessly to help trouble shoot problems for her clients, until she retired from her career. Her dedication to helping others was exceptional and she was highly admired by all who knew her.

Kwi had a kind and welcoming personality; always making others feel at ease with her warm presence and infectious smile. She had a great sense of humor which was evident in every conversation that she engaged in. Her kindness extended to everyone no matter their age or background, as she consistently displayed acts of kindness towards strangers.

Family was cherished by Kwi, who always prioritized spending quality time with them during the holidays. Every year she looked forward to creating new memories with loved ones and treasured those moments dearly. Being present for her family meant everything to her.

Volunteering regularly was one of Kwi's proudest accomplishments in life; it gave her extra meaning and purpose outside of work. It allowed her to give back to her community, which brought immense happiness and fulfillment to her heart.

Survivors include her son, William 'Bill' Smith; son, Steven Smith; sister Kisu Basile; brother John Kim; granddaughter Sierra Smith, and her grandson Hunter Smith.

We mourn the loss of Kwi Son Prange and are grateful for the memories that will endure for generations to come; memories filled with unparalleled love and affection. She touched so many lives during her time here on earth as reflected by the outpouring of gratitude from all those who knew her well. The world has lost an angel amongst us today, but we hope that through living our own lives with the values and principles that she exemplified we can all find a way to honor her life and legacy.
