Katherine "Katie" Darlene Tucker

Ms. Katherine "Katie" Darlene Tucker, age 45, of Rome, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. 

Katie was born on August 12, 1979 in Rome, GA. She was the daughter of the late Mr. David Tucker and Mrs. Vera Davis Stephens Tucker. Katie worked in retail sales as a clerk. Ms. Tucker was a loving mother, fiancé, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Tonya Tucker, Renee Tucker and Donna Hudgins; and a brother, Timothy Tucker. 

Katie is survived by her loving children: Denver (Kaitlyn) Brown, Dalton Tucker, Billy Tidwell, Macie Pope and Bella Cowan; loving fiancé, Scott Ward, brothers: Richard (Jaime) Tucker, Chris Tucker; sister, Tina Rose (Bobby) Bing; special sister: Tonya Davidson and several special nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends also survive. 

Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Tucker will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Salmon Funeral Home Chapel. Katie will be laid to rest following the service at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. 

Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Bobby Bing, Alex Bing, Justin Tucker, Austin Stanley, Dewayne Matney and Richard Tucker. 

The family will receive friends at Salmon Funeral Home on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the service begins at 1:00 PM.
