Kathie Arla Weedon

Kathie Arla Weedon, passed away on April 29, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 23, 1951, in Rome, GA, to the late Jessie James Selman and Eloise Parris Selman.
 

Kathie will be remembered as someone who raised everyone in Shannon with love and care. She was a lifetime member of New Antioch Baptist Church.
 
Kathie is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Charles H. Weedon, Jr.; her daughter, Stephanie Brooks (Patrick) of Rome, GA ; daughter, Teryn Jarrett of Rome, GA; son, Charles Shane Weedon (Gail) of Kingston, GA; grandchildren, Dakota Brooks, Logan Brooks, Luke Weedon, Lindsay (Timmy) Garrett, and great-grandchildren, Isaiah Garrett and Reagan Brooks.
 
Throughout her life, Kathie touched the hearts of many with her kindness and generosity. Her memory will live on in the countless lives she has positively impacted. In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Weedon was cremated and no services will be held at this time.
