John Ronald Casteel

John "Ronnie" Casteel age 68, of Rome passed away on Dec. 1, 2014. Mr. Casteel worked for the Floyd County Correctional System. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Jewel Jones and Ladale "Clem" Casteel; brother, Donnie Casteel.
Ronnie is survived by his wife Linda Casteel; son, John (Donna) Casteel, Jr.; three grandchildren, Matt Baker, Heather Cunningham, Triston Casteel; brother, Ricki Casteel.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral will be 1:00 pm at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Darren Nicholson, David Nicholson, Charles Raburn, Gary Henderson, Jason Henderson and John Casteel, Jr.
