John Chance

Mr. Edgar Richard Chance, age 72, of Rome, passed away, Saturday, January 13, 2018.

Mr. Chance was born on, March 11, 1945, in Floyd County, a son of the late James Burl Chance, Sr. and Mrs. Fannie Ethel Worthington Chance. Edgar worked as a brick layer for many years with Floyd Tile Company and a Veteran of the United States Air Force.. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ann Wade Chance, two brothers, Henry Thomas Chance, James Burl Chance, Jr; and three sisters, Mary Jewel Wade, Martha Baxter, and Mildred Cauldren.

Mr. Chance is survived by one nephew, John Culberson and two nieces; Diane Lanier and Doris Trapp.

Mr. Edgar Richard Chance was cremated and his cremains will be inurned in the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.
