Jo Nell Chester

Jo Nell Chester, formerly of Rome, passed away on March 12, 2016 in Chattanooga, TN, at the age of 79. Jo Nell was a former member of West Rome Baptist Church. She was a realtor for many years with Clyde Chester Realty then later owned Coldwell Banker French Property in Cumming, GA. Mrs. Chester lived her life for her family, work and the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde A. Chester; brother, Mike Gilbert and sister, Judy Gilbert.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim Chester (Jim) Glass; son, Tony (Carey) Chester; five grandchildren, Meredith Chester, Gray Chester, Caroline Chester, Drew Glass, Lindsay Glass; three sisters, Peggy (Newton) Tate, Cindy Sharpe, Lesha (Joe) Trantham; two brothers, Darryl (Pat) Gilbert and Rick (Debra) Gilbert.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral will be on Saturday also starting at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
