Jeffrey Todd Sims

Jeffrey Todd Sims, age 42, of #1125 Park Blvd., Rome, passed away on Tuesday morning, January 20th, 2009 at Floyd Medical Center following a brief illness.
A native of Floyd County, Todd was born on March 29th, 1966 and was a 1984 honor graduate of Armuchee High School. Todd had spent his entire life in Rome and was of the Baptist Faith. Todd was employed with Ramada Skytop Center of Rome as a Sous Chef.
Todd is survived by his father and mother, Jeff and Maxine Walters Sims of Rome; a daughter, Aeryn Cottingham of Dillion, South Carolina; aunts and uncles, Gail and Gene Jackson of Rome and Myra and Marshall Williamon of Marietta, Georgia.
Funeral services for Jeffrey Todd Sims will be held on Friday afternoon, January 23rd, 2009 at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Lambert officiating with interment to follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
Todd will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Thursday) evening from 7 until 9 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the home of his parents, Jeff and Maxine Sims at #3 Don Drive, NE, Rome.
The following will serve as active pallbearers, Gill June, Tony Hall, Cass Jackson, Mike Williamon, David and Scott Pullen.
