Jeanetta Mae Hatt

Ms. Jeanetta Mae Hatt (sister Tommy), age 84, of Shannon, GA, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.

Jeanetta was born on August 9, 1938 in Petersburg, Indiana to her late parents, Douglas Sanders and Opal Armstrong Sanders. Jeanetta was a faithful member of the Shannon Church of God of Prophecy. In her free time, she enjoyed watching Jeopardy, spending time with her children and family and being outdoors. Ms. Hatt was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jeanetta was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas Sanders and Opal Armstrong and a brother, Jack Sanders; and her two sisters, Sue Wilson and Francis Stubbs.

She is survived by her loving children, Franklin Coleman, Mike (Wanda) Coleman, Brad Coleman, James Coleman, Scott Hight, John (Michelle) Hight, Tommy Hight; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a very special niece, Jean McDaniels and a number of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of life will take place on October 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Shannon Church of God of Prophecy, 128 Todd Rd NE, Rome, GA 30161. Following the service the family will have a meal at the church, please feel free to join them and bring a covered dish.
