Mrs. Jean Lenora Kinsey

Mrs. Jean Lenora Kinsey age 81 died Monday August 21st at the home of her daughter Angela Trammell following an extended illness.
Mrs. Kinsey was born August 29, 1935 in Rome, Georgia daughter of the late Dennis J. Singleton and Pearl E. Ray Singleton. Mrs. Kinsey until retirement had been associated with Bontons in Rome as a Sales Associate. Mrs. Kinsey was a member of Mt. Paran Church of God, and was an accomplished artist and avid gardener. She had an abounding love for animals and supplied shelter and care for many of Gods abandon creatures.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Kinsey was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd H. Kinsey in 1990.
Survivors include a daughter Angela Trammell, Rome; two stepsons, Kerry Kinsey, Florida; and Danny Kinsey, Virginia; two granddaughters, Megan Grisham (Garrett) and Olivia Trammell both of Rome; two great grandsons, Tucker and Levi Grisham, Sister, Martha McDurmont, Rome; special friend Phil Trammell and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday August 25, 2017 at 2 PM in the Carl Sidwell Chapel of Salmon Funeral Home with Dr. Talmedge Barnes and Rev, Les Walker officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until the funeral hour, at other hours they may be contacted at their respective residences.
The family respectfully asks in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to Heyman Hospice 420 East 2nd Avenue, Rome, GA 30161.
