Janice Burgess Dodson

Mrs. Janice Burgess Dodson, age 78, of Rome, GA, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020, in a local hospital.

Janice was born in Spartanburg, SC, on April 27, 1941, daughter of the late Wyatt Aiken Burgess and Elease Lennie Bolin Burgess. She was raised in Lyman, SC, and lived the greater part of her life in Rock Hill, SC. She loved reading, genealogy and traveling. In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her first husband, William Lee Morrow, in 2001.

Janice is survived by her husband, Howard Dodson; one daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Chris Roberson of Roswell, GA; one son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Melissa Morrow of Arvada, CO; three grandchildren, Trevor Roberson, Lauren Morrow and Veronica Morrow.

In keeping with her wishes, Janice will be cremated and will be buried with her first husband in South Carolina.
