Jane Allen Harbour

Jane Arnold Harbour, age 75, of Grayson, Georgia and a former Roman, passed away on July 16th, 2012 at her residence in Grayson, Georgia.

A native of Rome and Lindale, Mrs. Harbour was born on November 29th, 1936, the daughter of the late Altas Allen Arnold and the late Ruby Jane Wilkins Arnold. Mrs. Harbour was a graduate of Pepperell High School and was associated with Battey Machinery of Rome, with Harvey-Given of Rome and with State Farm Insurance Company. She was a member of Wesley Southern Methodist Church and had been a resident of Grayson, Georgia since 2005. Mrs. Harbour was preceded in death by her husband, John Moss Harbour on March 7th, 2012 to whom she was married in May 1956.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Greg Sheppard of Dahlonega, GA,; a son and daughter-in-law, Cale and Beth Harbour of Grayson, GA.; grandchildren, Austin Sheppard and his wife, Erin, Preston Sheppard, Jenna Harbour and Jacob Harbour. Brothers-in-law, Raymond Harbour and Robert "Bob" Harbour. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral and interment services for Jane Arnold Harbour will be held on Saturday morning, August 25th, 2012 at 11 o'clock at the family lot of East View Cemetery, Kingston Avenue, Rome, Georgia, with Reverend Ron Smith officiating. For those attending the funeral services for Mrs. Harbour please meet at the graveside on Saturday morning, August 25th, 2012 by 10:45 a.m.
