Jan Elizabeth Offutt

Mrs. Jan Elizabeth Offutt, age 67, of Armuchee, GA passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024. 

Jan was born on May 3, 1957 in Mobile, AL. She was the daughter of the late William Martin Gollott and Wila Jean Reynolds Tagert. Mrs. Offutt was raised in Mobile and it held a special place in her heart. Jan loved farm life, traveling and the beach. She enjoyed having animals, especially her cows and being with nature. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene “Gene” Jones Offutt, Jr., brother, Tony Gollott and brothers-in-law: Pete Tolbert and Warren Sirk. 

She is survived by her loving children: Ashley (Lee) Thomas of Armuchee, GA Steven Eugene Offutt of Armuchee, GA; step-children: Shawn (Ashleigh) Offutt of Tennessee, Bryan (Michelle) Offutt of Maryland and Keri (Ryan) Gwynne of Tennessee; sisters: Gloria (Roger) Tolbert of Mobile, AL and Sheila (Ronnie) Brown of Mobile, AL, 16 grandchildren and her special friends in Collinsville, AL. 

In keeping with the families wishes, Mrs. Offutt will be cremated and no formal services are being planned at this time.
