James Franklin Tumblin, Jr

James Franklin "Jim" Tumblin, Jr. age 62, of Athens, Georgia and a former Roman died February 4th, 2009 in Athens.
A native of Laurens, SC, Mr. Tumblin was born on January 23rd, 1947, the son of the late Willie May Smith Tumblin and the late James Franklin Tumblin, Sr. He was the former owner and operator of J. & B. Heating and Air and H.V.A.C. Brokers of Rome. Mr. Tumblin was married on July 13th, 1964 to Barbara June Wood Tumblin who preceded him in death on November 15th, 2005.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Walter Trapp of Athens, GA.; a son and daughter-in-law, Trippy and Sassy Tumblin of Watkinsville, GA.; 2 grandchildren, Zac Trapp and Max Tumblin, a brother, Charlie Tumblin of Rome. Nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, February 10th, 2009 from 6 until 8 o'clock at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel.
