Harwell Frank Reeves

Harwell Frank Reeves, age 68, of Rome passed away on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 12, 2014 at the residence.
Harwell was born on May 22, 1946 in Forney, Alabama. Harwell was preceded in death by his parents L. and Inez Reeves, his first wife Nancy Jo Reeves, son, Harwell Frank "Junior" Reeves, and all of his brothers and sisters. Mr. Reeves was retired from the Coca-Cola and owned Reeves Electrical of Rome. Harwell had a passion for working.
Harwell is survived by his wife, Marie Reeves; daughter Julia (Al) Acrey; two granddaughters, Madison Reeves and Ashley Acrey; grandson, Jordan Reeves; three step sons, Chris Dempsey, Eric Dempsey, Jonathan Dempsey; also the one that stole Harwell's heart, Emilee Rose Files, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to his doctors Dr. Poonan Singh, Dr. Stephen Finn and his Dr. Dilawar Kahn and also a special thanks to his nurse Maxine and the Heyman Hospice Care. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers will be Skip Reeves, Saul Sosa, Byron Sosa, Olvin Dargas, Edison Mux and Marvin Wright.
Visitation will be on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel. The funeral service will be on Friday, Aug. 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
