Gregory Lloyd Castleberry

Gregory L. "Greg" Castleberry, age 56, of Rome, passed away on Thursday evening, April 5th, 2012 at a Rome hospital.

A native of Floyd County, Greg was born on September 21st, 1955, the son of the late Henry L. and Frances Pauline Cook Castleberry. Greg had spent his entire life in Rome and was of the Baptist faith. Greg a graduate of West Rome High School and a graduate Floyd College where he received his Registered Nurse degree. For a period of time, Greg was associated with Floyd Medical Center and Northwest Georgia Regional hospital. He was an avid airplane enthusiast. Greg was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Castleberry in 1990.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Castleberry; a brother, Tim Castleberry of Acworth, GA.; 2 daughters, Christie Cameron (Ira) of Bruaux Bridge, LA. And Caitlin Ward of Rome; 4 grandchildren, William, Calisse and Ethan Cameron and Emma Ward. 1 niece Brieanna Castleberry also survive.

A Celebration of Greg's Life will be held at a later date.
