Gerald Blake Autry

Gerald Blake Autry, age 50 of the Autry Road, Adairsville (The Scottsville Community) passed away early Thursday morning, September 20th, 2012 at a Rome hospital.

A native of Floyd County, Mr. Autry was born on October 5th, 1961, the son of the late Eugene Talmadge Autry and the late Willene Baily Autry. He had spent his entire life in Floyd County and attended Model High School. Mr. Autry worked at Autry Fence Company for several years and was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Gail Braden on October 22nd, 2000.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Bethany Tess Autry and Katie Beth Autry; 1 son, Nicholas Adam Ramsey; 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. A brother, Farron Autry also survives.

Funeral services for Gerald Blake Autry will be held this (Saturday) evening, September 22nd, 2012 at 8 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerry Gaddis officiating.

Mr. Autry will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Saturday) evening from 6 until the funeral hour.
