Frankie L. Redmond, age 49, of Lamar Street, Rome, died Wednesday night, April 14th, 2010 at the residence.
A native of Valley, Alabama, Mr. Redmond was born on August 4th, 1960, the son of Gaynell Stephens Aycock and the late Melvin Lamar Redmond. He has spent the greater part of his life in Floyd County and was a Christian. Mr. Redmond was a pipefitter being a member of Local #72 in Atlanta.
Survivors include a son, Dustin Lamar Redmond and his wife, Sarah Beth of Ames, Iowa; his mother, Gaynell Aycock of Rome; a sister, Jenny Snoddy and her husband, Charley of Murfreesboro, TN. and a brother, Ken Redmond and his wife, Jeannette of Soddy Daisy, TN.
The family of Frankie L. Redmond will receive friends at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel on Sunday afternoon, April 18th, 2010 from 2 until 5 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the residence.
