Florence Beatrice Hampton

Florence Beatrice Self Hampton, age 86, of #94 Old Highway 41, Adairsville, GA. died Tuesday afternoon, December 11th, 2007 at a Rome hospital.
A native of Cobb County, Georgia, Mrs. Hampton was born on April 23rd,, 1921, the daughter of the late Carl and Sallie Ezell Self. She was a resident of Adairsville since 1988 moving there from Shannon and was a homemaker. Mrs. Hampton was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Mrs. Hampton was married in July 1940 to Scott Causey Hampton, Jr. who preceded her in death in June 1987.
Survivors include 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and James Terry of Acworth, GA. and Linda and John Rawlins of Clarkston, GA. 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren also survive.
Memorial services for Florence Beatrice Self Hampton will be held on Saturday afternoon, December 15th, 2007 at 2 o'clock at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on the Hall Station Road, Adairsville, with Mr. Devon Michels speaking.
