Edna Mae Mckenzie

Edna Mae Parton McKenzie, age 77 of Armuchee passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016. She was born on September 1, 1939 the daughter of the late James Albert Parton and the late Etta Mae Ellenburg Parton. Mrs. McKenzie was preceded in death by her husband, William Algie McKenzie, Jr., by brothers, Albert Parton, Alton Parton, Bill Parton, and Herman Parton. She loved to feed everyone from her family and friends especially on holidays.

Survivors include her sons, Charles Michael (Donna) Weaver and William Darrell McKenzie; daughters, Robin Marie (Russell) Gluffe and Brenda Ann Parton; 25 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; a sister, Patsy Jean (Larry) Stoker.

Funeral services for Edna Mae Parton McKenzie will be held on Monday morning at 11 o'clock at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Hampton officiating with interment in Floyd Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Sunday evening at the funeral home from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Navigators of Rome.
