Edgar Wayne Silver

Edgar Wayne Silver, age 74, of Rome, passed away Thursday night, July 26th, 2012, at a Rome Health Care Center.

Mr. Silver was born in Rome on January 14th, 1938, the son of the late Harvey E. and Susie Moss Silver. He attended 4th Ward School and was a member of the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church. For a period of time Mr. Silver worked at the Rome Printing Company. He was preceded in death by a niece, Charolette Nasworthy Mathis.

Survivors include a sister, Dorothy S. "Dot" Nasworthy of Shannon; 2 nephews, Bill Nasworthy and his wife Kim and Tom Nasworthy all of Rome; a niece Susan Pelfrey of Chula Vista, CA.

Graveside and interment services for Mr. Silver will be held on Sunday afternoon, July 29th, 2012 at 3 o'clock at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Talking Rock, Georgia with the Reverend Ray Miles officiating.
