Donald Lynn Barton

Lynn Barton, age 53, of Rome, passed away on May 26, 2016. Lynn worked for Ansco Utility Construction doing construction for Bellsouth. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Paul Barton and Uncle Gene Murphy. Mr. Barton was a race car fan and loved anything to do with cars.

He is survived by his wife Monica Barton; son, Dustin (Hollis) Barton; two step daughters, Lizzie (Robert) Wilson, Breanna Godfrey; mother, Carolyn Ann Barton; four grandchildren, Banks Barton, Christopher Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Mason Godfrey; brother, Charles (Christina) Barton.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 30, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral will be on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Noon at the Chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Oaknoll Memorial Garden.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the American Lung Association.
