Donald B. Henry

Mr. Donald B. Henry, age 81, formerly of Rome, GA, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019, in Sylvester, GA.

Don was born in Indianapolis, IN, on February 25, 1937, son of the late Willard L Henry and Eunice Fern Ryan Henry. He was instrumental in bringing the Lobster restaurant to Rome and managed it for several years. Don was a devoted Christian and Sunday School teacher who loved the Lord and his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lovell Henry.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Yvonne Loudermilk Henry; three children, Joseph Michael Henry, Stephen Daniel Henry and Donna Kaye Roberts; two brothers, Elmer Henry and Steve Henry; a sister, Lovetta King. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral services will be held today at 2:00 p.m. in the mausoleum chapel of Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ken Oates officiating. Interment will follow.
