Danny Boyd Simpson

Danny Boyd Simpson, age 55 of Cave Spring, passed away on Aug. 25, 2014. Danny was preceded in death by his father Harold Boyd Simpson. Danny previously worked for Inland Paperboard and worked as a farmer for most of his life. He was a volunteer at the Cave Springs Fire Department and Floyd County EMA. Mr. Simpson was a member of the GA Farm Bureau and Floyd County Young Farmers Assoc.

He is survived by his wife who he married on Dec. 6, 1986 Jean McGuiness Simpson; two children, Adam (Hannah) Simpson and Jessica A. (Darnell) Griffis; two grandsons, Nathan B. and Bentley C. Simpson; two sisters, Anne (Dicky) Stewart and Anita (Mark) Haygood and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel. There will be a chapel service on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
